Delighted! A wonderful apartment beautifully & practically set up with the most stunning views of the amazing world class surfing beach of Fistral.

Me and my mother are really pleased, enjoying being here, for the first time after ‘lockdown’ and enjoying seeing relatives.  We hope to return again!  Thanks for your friendly approach and helpful welcoming housekeeper too.

Many thanks for a very pleasant stay.  It has given us a great opportunity to see our several families that live in Cornwall, after a very difficult time – a very welcome break.

What a lovely apartment this is, everything you could possibly want is provided for us, with a wonderful view of the bay from the sitting room.  We have had a wonderful week and lovely sunny days for a change.  We have fallen in love with the 2 settees and very comfortable bed I wish I could put them in the back of my car.  If we come here again we shall be hoping we can stop here again.

Great sized apartment with absolutely everything you could think of included.  I can see a lot of thought and attention to detail has gone into this accommodation which was very much appreciated.  Stunning views was the “cherry on the top!”  With family in Newquay I would not hesitate to use again and recommend.  Also, really comfortable beds and the quiet location made for a very relaxing stay.

Absolutely stunning views from the living area.  Best self-catering apartment we have ever had! Extremely well equipped kitchen.  Well functioning appliances.  Lots of space in bedrooms and bathrooms.  We especially liked the reclining sofas.  Thanks to Barbara and Cliff for this apartment.

Returned for our 2nd visit – another great holiday here.  Stayed 2 weeks this time so managed to fit in much more! Loved St Agnes and The Lizard.  Great surfing this week too.  Kids love it here!

Lovely, lovely apartment.  We have stayed in a number of privately owned apartments over the last few years and this has been by far the most well-equipped and maintained.  The little touches really do make a difference!  Nice to have cleaning products available with grubby little monkeys, the welcome pack (cream tea) was fantastic after a long slow journey and the whole apartment in perfect condition.  Also nice to receive a text (from the owner) to make sure all was ok – we felt very, very welcome.  Thank you.

How lovely! We have had the most wonderful holiday here. The apartment is fantastic with beautiful views of Fistral Beach and a wonderful well equipped apartment too!  Everything we needed and more.  We would love to come back again.   PS Thank you for our lovely scones on arrival and a pint of milk for a ‘cuppa’ after a long journey was lovely.

We had a fantastic time over Christmas and New Year.  This apartment is beautiful, it is everything we wanted and more.  We are use to staying in tents/campervans so this was a real treat for us and we enjoyed every minute. We wish to thank Barbara and Cliff for providing such a beautiful home for us to stay and making us feel so welcome.  We will definitely book again.

Wonderful!  Our return visit has been just as good.  Our little boy is now 2 and loved his holiday!  Lovely weather, no surf but found loads to do.  Dairyland brilliant for Ben and took advantage of their offer.  Property lovely and clean and perfect for our family.  Hope to return.

This apartment has been everything I dreamed of.  It has stunning views of the sea and there is a simple route to get to it.  The Spa bath is lush and it warms you up a treat after surfing.  Every day there has been some place near to go.  E.g. a trip to the cinema one day, a long walk on another – BRILLIANT!!!  There are also many gorgeous restaurants just down the road with within walking distance.  I have enjoyed this holiday thoroughly!

The apartment here is wonderful – everything you could ask for.  It is perfect for walking, surfing, eating and drinking!  We have had a brilliant holiday and will definitely return!  We have loved it here and wish we could stay longer!

We have had an amazing week.  Lots of lovely walks and we’re not really walking type people.  The reclining sofas in the apartment have sold us on what we’re getting for our next suite!  The apartment is delightful and is wonderfully situated, nice view and is tastefully decorated; it was nice to relax in the evenings within the apartment after burning ourselves out traipsing around Cornwall.  Will certainly return as it is exactly what we want from an apartment.

Wow, what an amazing 2 weeks!  We are gutted to be leaving but know we will return next year.  The apartment is just stunning and everything you could possible need to contained within.  We have a young family (3, 1 and 6 months!) and due to the excellent provision felt we were at home but with all that Cornwall has to offer on our doorstep.  We were exceptionally active and did Padstow, St Ives, Crantock, Fistral, Hollywell Bay, Lizard Point, Kynance Cove, Porth Towan, Chapel Forth, Carbis Bay, Porth Minster, Falmouth, St Mawes, Eden Project, Cyder Farm, Candlestick Farm, Port Isaac and St Agnes (sure I’ve missed some!).  Cornwall ROCKS and we can’t wait to come back to the amazing Fistral Retreats to take on the next chapter.  Thank You!!

We have had a fabulous break in your lovely apartment.  Our kids wanted to learn to surf and this was the perfect base.  Thank you for the Newquay Activity Centre recommendation and 15% discount – our kids lived there and on the beach.  Cornwall is a beautiful place and your apartment a great base to start from.  We are very sad to leave and already discussing another visit sometime – hopefully we can book here again.

Great apartment, fantastically located for the buzz (Newquay town) and the relaxation (Crantock Beach).  Really nicely done apartment, great showers, décor and a nice firm bed for a quite heavily pregnant lady.  We weren’t blessed with brilliant weather but devouring books in the apartment (or hot chocolates in town!) was no hardship, and one day of sun was enough to burn us both!  Had a lovely time and would be happy to return.

Once again we had a fantastic time!  This was our second visit to Fistral Retreats and it definitely won’t be our last.  This apartment is perfectly located for gentle walks on Pentire Headland and the infamous Fistral beach and is perfect for access to the town centre.  Everything you could possibly want is available within the apartment and it made our stay a real home from home.  Thanks again for a wonderful relaxing holiday.

Apartment was fantastic and well worthy of description (luxury accommodation).  A great deal of thought has been taken to meet everyone’s needs.  I especially liked all the little touches i.e. welcome tea/coffee/milk/handwash in both bathrooms and kitchen, luxury bath towels and hairdryers.  This is by far the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in and has set the standard very high.  Will definitely be returning at the next opportunity.

Lovely, comfortable and clean apartment.  Well equipped with a homely feel.  Would certainly recommend to friends and family and hope to come again.  Could have stayed longer and didn’t want to go home!  Our girls enjoyed being by the beach.

I just wanted to say that we had a lovely time at Fistral Retreats, the accommodation was perfect for our needs and we were all very sorry to have to make our long journey home today. We will recommend you and I will write a review once I get the kids back to school etc. Danny really enjoyed his surf lesson and the guys at the centre were great, so I think you could feel comfortable in passing on their details, the 15% discount was also very welcome.

We had a very pleasant stay in your apartment. We were very lucky with the weather, the week we stayed there was by far the best this year in terms of temperature and sunshine. Originally we did not intend for our 8 year old to go surfing, but we ended up getting him a small board and a wet suit. We are seriously considering going to Cornwall again next year. I hope it will be possible to rent your apartment again. But all good things come to an end, and after two weeks in England we are now back in Denmark.

Thank you for a wonderful week.  We try and visit Newquay every year (normally camping).  We love the area and this year has been amazing.  I am 6 months pregnant and have found the location and apartment perfect.  I can sit and relax while my partner can go and surf.  Town is just a 15 minute walk away and we love the view! Everything has been lovely and clean and well laid out.  Almost everything we have needed is already here.  Lisa has been helpful when we phoned.  We would love to come back.

I’ve had a wonderful  two week break in your wonderful apartment.  The weather has been mixed, but that’s Cornwall. How wonderful to walk the headland in the wind or the  beach in the misty rain.  My son was disappointed with the lack of surf when he came down for the weekend but the amazing scenery around here certainly made up for it!  My mum was here for the second week and she was happy to sit in your lovely living room and was so impressed (as was I) by the light, open feel of the apartment and the carefully co-ordinated fittings.  Everything thought of.  Thank you so much.  Hope to come again.  (PS – very helpful leaflets and information packs.)
